Lash Publications International is Two-time Winner in APEX 2001
Lash Publications International is pleased to announce it has received two
Awards of Excellence in the feature and technical writing categories from APEX
2001, the thirteenth annual awards program recognizing excellence in
publications work by professional communicators, sponsored by Communications
Concepts, Inc. The feature writing award was received for "Designing It Right
the First Time," which was published in the February 2000 issue of Software
Strategies magazine. The technical writing award was received for "Fuel Cell
Technology," published in the November/December 2000 issue of SWE Magazine.
APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the
ability to achieve overall communications excellence. APEX Grand Awards honor
the outstanding works in each main category, while APEX Awards of Excellence
recognize exceptional entries in each of the sub-categories. A total of 5,129
entries were submitted. 75 Grand Awards were presented in each of 11 major
categories with 1,336 Awards of Excellence presented to most of 97
subcategories. The main writing category received 758 entries. The panel of
judges included Dr. Paul Fisher, formerly Professor of Journalism with the
University of Missouri School of Journalism. Previous APEX awards were received
in
2000, 1999, and
1996.
